ABOUT HIM
Shawn
Peter Raul Mendes was born on the 8th of August 1997 in Toronto,
Canada.
He’s
a singer/songwriter who broke records with his debut single.
He became
famous by posting covers of other songs on Vine, a social media platform.
ALBUMS
Handwritten
Handwritten
was his first debut studio album and was recorded on April 14th, 2015, by
Island Records.
It
debuted as No.1 on the US Billboard 200, and sold 106.000 copies. The album includes "Stitches”, which reached No.5 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and No.1
on the UK Singles Chart, while its reissue features the US top 20 single "I
Know What You Did Last Summer".
Illuminate
Illuminate is his second studio album and it
was released on September 23rd, 2016 by Island Records and Universal Music Group. The album reached
the top of the US Billboard 200 and it will be supported by the Illuminate World Tour, set to begin in March 2017.

tour by Shawn Mendes in
anticipation of his first studio album Handwritten, released on April 14th
, 2015. The tour started in November 2014 in New York City and ended in Stockholm, Sweden.

The Shawn Mendes World Tour is the second concert tour by Shawn Mendes, in support of his
debut studio album Handwritten (2015). The tour began in New York
City at Radio City Music
Hall on March 5th, 2016, and concluded on November 2nd,
2016, in Manila at the Mall
of Asia Arena.
Illuminate World Tour
The Illuminate
World Tour is the third
concert tour by Shawn Mendes, in support of his
second studio album Illuminate (2016).
The tour is set to begin in Glasgow at The
SSE Hydro on the 27th of April, 2017, and is set to
conclude on the 23rd of August, 2017, in Boston
at the TD Garden.
