TV News: Natural Disasters

Breaking News!! Natural Disasters all around the world!

"Last days in 4th ESO English classes, we have been studying the natural disasters. As a result, we have done a project which includes a TV news where we have explained, as real as possible, a natural disaster. We were in groups of four and each one had a different task: editor, scientist, presenter or survivor. All of the groups have recorded fantastic videos. It has been an interesting and original project."

What TV or film characters do you wish were real? Why? 

I wish Ladybug and Chetnoir were real to save Barcelona and protect us from dangerous things. It is funny to see magical heroes jumping from buildings.

What is the worst thing about the Internet?

For me, the worst thing is the lack of privacy because when you post something anyone can take it, and use it however they want. Another risk is the cyberbullying as people can do bad things to another people, or they can pretend to be another one.

Internet has a lot of good things, like searching information, learning, communicating with other people from other parts of the world… but it has also bad things and it can be dangerous. Many people use the Internet to manipulate and cheat. If you are in contact with another person that you don’t know face to face, this virtual person can cheat you and can provoke problems to you. For this reason, you can use the Internet but with caution.

“Describe your ideal life 15 years from now.”

It’s difficult to know what I will be doing 15 years from now, but I think that in 2033 I will be studying Medicine at University. I will be finishing my degree. I don’t know if I will have a boyfriend but I would like to. I will have a dog and I will be working to earn a bit of money to travel with my brother.

I think I will live here to study my degree and then I will go abroad.

My ideal life in 15 years from now will be in London I will be working there but I don’t know where. I will have a good life.  When I was 30 years old, I would have a black belt in taekwondo and I would be the Spanish champion.
