Malware or malicious software is a type of software that has the objective of damaging a system. Inside the malware you can see different kinds like virus, trojans, worm, keyloggers, botnets, ransomwares, spyware, adware, hijackers, rootkits, bootkits, rogues…
Adware: an adware is a program with the objective of infesting your pc with advertisements. To prevent that you should read the terms and use of some freeware because they can include information about this.
Spyware: a spyware is a program with the objective of spying someone without his consent. This type of malware usually usually used in companies to spy others.
Botnets: this type of malware is used to create an army of zombie computers that later attacks someone.
Keyloggers: keylogger is a software that captures the keys that you are pressing and later sends them to the user that created the program. It is usually used to steal users and passwords.
Rootkits: this malware is used to give privileged functions of a system and then hide the process that are being run by a cracker or a hacker.

Instagram

Instagram is a social network created by Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger in 2010. It is used to share images and videos and to talk with friends, with family, etc. The application allows users to take pictures, apply filters and frames if you want, and finally show them to their friends or followers. It also allows to send it to other applications like Facebook, Twitter, etc.
Instagram was originally designed for iPhone, iPad and iPod with a download from the APP Store and from its website. At the beginning of April 2012, a version was published for Android and, currently, is also download from Google Play. Since its creation, Instagram has been very popular. In November 2011, it had 12 million followers and, currently, the application has more than 100 million of active users, and it has become one of the most used apps (between the 10 most used).

The insta stories is a new option that Instagram has incorporated relatively recently and has become a great and famous success. They allow you to upload pictures or videos for 24 hours. In addition, it also presents the possibility of being able to write about the videos or photographs you made, to add emoticons or to make drawings, always facilitating the user the task. Users can carry out informal publications that will last only 24 hours and focus on presenting the rest of their followers what they are doing.

I think that Instagram is a good network to talk and inform you about the things that happen. But all with good use because it can end up being addictive and even a way to have fights. But I think it is a very good way to expose, in a careful way, your life to the world.

The students of 3rd ESO have been preparing a project in English and Computer classes. They have designed a tale in a computer programme with some dialogues in English. The aim of these dialogues is to reinforce the grammar of the unit and also to be familiar with some new vocabulary related to the emotions. The results are amazing!!!! Just click on the pictures if you want to see two examples. Enjoy!

Internet

Hi bloggers!

Today, 27th October 2016, the students of 4th ESO have joined all their partners from 1st, 2nd and 3rd ESO in the theatre. They have been talking about the Internet Security and the I.P.L (Intellectual Property Law).

After that, they have prepared a “Kahoot!”, which is a quiz with some questions about the topics explained before, so they can see the knowledge the students have after their explanation.
