Today I have
bad news about what happened a few days ago. Unfortunately , David Bowie died
on January 10, 2016.
David
Robert Jones was born on 8 January 1947 in Brixton (London). He was an English
singer, songwriter, musician, record producer, painter and actor.
He was a
figure in pop music for over five decades, and was considered by critics and
other musicians as an innovator, particularly for his work in the 1970s.
He has died after 18 months of a courageous battle against this
cancer. He told very few people about his illness.
For all these reasons, I have chosen him for my
entry as a tribute.
