It was
officially founded as a football club on October 28, 1900 by a group of local
students of the University of Barcelona under the name of Spanish Foot-ball
Society.
It is a sports
limited company based in Barcelona, Spain whose first team plays at the RCDE
Stadium located between the towns of Cornellá de Llobregat and El Prat de
Llobregat. It is owned by the Chinese company Rastar Group dedicated to the manufacture
of electronic toys and online video games.
