AVENGERS
In 2012 The Avengers
was released in cinemas, based on the comic of the same name. It is the first
major crossover in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The film has an ensemble*
cast that includes: Robert Downey Jr (Iron
Man), Chris Evans (Captain America),
Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Scarlett
Johansson (Black Widow), Mark
Ruffalo (Hulk) and Jeremy Renner (Clint Barton).
In the film, a spy
agency called S.H.I.E.L.D recruits all these characters in order to stop Thor’s
brother (Loki) from subjugating Earth. Some S.H.I.E.L.D members are being
controlled by Loki, making the defeat even more challenging. In the end, the
Avengers succeed and part ways, awaiting the emergence of a new
world-threatening menace…

was the first movie to make one billion dollars.
- Scarlett
Johansson was pregnant during the filming of the second movie and had 3 stunt
doubles.

- Spiderman
was part of the Avengers in the comic books.
