The Rhythmic Gymnastics

The origin of this sport is in the Union of Soviet Republics in the 30s. But the rhythmic gymnastics was considerated a sport in the 1984. The sport has evolved, until in 1984 it became an Olympic sport.
This sport is usually practiced by women. You can practice it in group or individually. These are the most important, but you can also practice in duo, trio, quartet or quintet.
If you practice the rhythmic gymnastics in group, your dances will not last longer than two and a half minutes; and if you practice individually, no more than one and a half minute.

There are many objects to use, for example:
Ball, it can be made of plastic. It has a 20cm diameter and it weighs 400g.
Tape, can be made of plastic, wood, … It has a width between 4 or 6 cm and a length of 6cm (the stick).
Ring: can be made of wood or plastic. The weigh is 300g and the diameter is 85cm.
Maces: can be made of wood or plastic. It has a length between 5 and 8cm and it weighs 300g. They are formed by three parts; body, neck and head.
These are all the objects that you can use to practice the sport.
