The Dancehall

Hi bloggers, do you like dancing???

Dancehall is a type of dance that appeared at the end of the 1970s in Jamaica. This dance comes from the reggae, another type of dance that also is of the same city. This dance is characterized as a dance with references to African and Caribbean dance. Its name comes from the dance halls (ballrooms) where the popular Jamaican music was played. In the dancehall, there are different styles, some of them are: dancehall queen strength of abdomen, legs and acrobatics and the dancehall "social", a mix between afro dances, Arabic and hip hop.

At the end of the 80's, it became popular in all Jamaica, and in the 90's became popular in the entire world.
