Emotions and Mindfulness

On the 25th October, in the English class of 3rd B ESO we have done an activity about emotions and mindfulness. This activity consists in listening to the sounds that the teacher plays in the computer, and then, describe the emotions that we have felt in a worksheet, together with a drawing of our feeling.
We have listened to sounds like a rainstorm, traffic, a scream and a lot of things more. We have done this activity in groups of four people.
In our opinion, is a great activity to practice the emotions and the mindfulness, the capacity to let your brain stay in the moment without thinking in problems, and to relax the body. It was amazing because it’s a funny, happy and practical way to learn.

The Manga Lounge

Hi bloggers!

Today we talk about the next event: the Manga Lounge! For those who do not know what it is: is an event about manga, anime and Japanese culture organized by Ficomic . It is held annually at the Fira Barcelona (Barcelona).
This is the most important cartoon event focused on Japanese comics in Spain.
I love Japanese culture and I do not intend to miss this opportunity to spend some time reading manga and buying anime stuff.

In this event you can have fun and go disguised as your favourite character, open many things that you can buy and maybe have the opportunity to win some prizes, such as a cosplay.

The days that you can go (if you have a ticket) are 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 November, 2017, at the Fira Barcelona.

We'll be waiting for you!!!

The Hunger Games & Divergent

Last day, I started reading the last book of The Hunger Games. This saga has three books and three films. So after watching all the films and reading all the books, I think that it's not like most of the sagas that have films and books. I mean, most of the films that have been done because of a book, are usually not as detailed as the books are, or not so similar. Personally, I think tP.hat this saga fulfills the expectative of a perfect match. But this isn't the only saga that has that. The saga Divergent is another one. It's one of my favorites too. It has three films and four books. And the films have a lot of details that are the same in the books. Each author of the two sagas is completely different: The Author of the Hunger Games is Suzanne Collins. She started working in a television company making programs for children. Then she began writing child books, and after this, she finally decided to write science-fiction novels. On the other hand, we have the author of Divergent: Veronica Roth. She loved writing since she was very little, so when she was at university, she started to write a book. She didn't pay attention to the classes because she spent all the time writing. And thanks to that, the saga Divergent was born. After telling you more information about their sagas, I recommend you to see them or to read them if you want.

Salar of Uyuni

The Salar of Uyuni is the biggest and widest salt desert in the world. It measures one thousand, five hundred and eighty-two square kilometers, and it is located in Bolivia. This work of the nature produces twenty-five thousand tons of salt and one hundred and fifty million tons of lithium in one year.
It is one of the greatest wonders of nature especially when it rains, when it transforms into a giant mirror. In the center, there is an island with plants and animals.
I have chosen this natural place because this work of nature is the one that I like the most because of all its characteristics.

Football

My favorite sport is football because I have fun playing with my friends. I play in the Trajana's team with my friends. I'm wearing the shirt with the number 2 and I'm right side. Each week I train on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and I play matches on weekends.

A School Trip

Hi bloggers!

The other day we went to Gualba’s park to celebrate the “Dinar de Germanor”.
3th and 4th ESO students went to this park to do some cooperative activities and have a funny day.
We didn’t do any activity together, because our partners in 3rd ESO walked along the park, but our activities in 4th were very funny. We created an improvised lipdub to finish the day and it was very good. This activity was the best of the day.

It was a perfect day, and at the same time, our last “Dinar de Germanor”, but we will keep a fantastic memory of that day.

Pablo Escobar

Hi bloggers? Have you seen Narcos?
I would like to start by saying that this character has only caused pain, suffering, and crime, in the history of Colombia.
Pablo Escobar was a cocaine trafficker. I am very interested in this man because he made a fortune. As you can see, I am not exaggerating, because this narco earned 60$ million a day and 5.000$ million a year.
Before being recognized as the creator of the Cartel of Medellín, he first made alliances with Gonzalo Rodríguez Gacha, Carlos Lehder and Jorge Luis Ochoa. Thanks to this union, he managed to create an organization that controlled the production and the consumption of more than 80% of the cocaine world production. To clear your mind, at the beginning of the 80s, he began to build schools, give money and create houses. With these actions, people in Colombia voted for him and he arrived at the National Congress in 1982. Nevertheless, a photo that showed him in a corrupted police station asking for more money changed everything. The photo was published in the newspaper of the Spectator, so he was removed from his post. Months later, his accuser, Lara Bonilla and Guillermo Cano, director of El Espectador, were assassinated following Escobar’s orders.
This story is very long, I think that you never have to get into the world of drugs or crime. It is necessary to follow the rules, respect people and not to make the chaos committed by Pablo Escobar.

The Dancehall

Hi bloggers, do you like dancing???

Dancehall is a type of dance that appeared at the end of the 1970s in Jamaica. This dance comes from the reggae, another type of dance that also is of the same city. This dance is characterized as a dance with references to African and Caribbean dance. Its name comes from the dance halls (ballrooms) where the popular Jamaican music was played. In the dancehall, there are different styles, some of them are: dancehall queen strength of abdomen, legs and acrobatics and the dancehall "social", a mix between afro dances, Arabic and hip hop.

At the end of the 80's, it became popular in all Jamaica, and in the 90's became popular in the entire world.

My Summer

Hi bloggers!
This summer I have travelled to several places.
In July, I travelled to Prague in the Czech Republic. I travelled with some friends. To go there, we had a stopover of airplanes, so, we had to stay a whole day in Paris, since our flight was leaving the following day. When we arrived in Prague, the first thing we did was going to the hotel where we stayed seven days. We had time to know almost everything.

It was a unique experience for me since I was with my friends and I had a great time. After those seven days, we had to return. When we arrived at the airport, we realised that our flight had been delayed for two and a half hours. We were worried because we had to stop in Amsterdam. At the end, we missed the flight from Amsterdam to Barcelona, so we remain there one more day. The hotel was beautiful and it gave us time to know a bit of the country. It was time then to return to Barcelona.
