Animal Shelter

Hi bloggers!
A few years ago, I wanted a puppy. I was trying to convince my parents to buy me a dog every day, but they did not want it. They told me that I had many obligations and responsibilities. I continued trying every day, until one day I convinced them! They told me that we were not going to buy a dog but adopt it.  I did not know what that was or where it was, but I was super convinced because the only thing I wanted was a puppy, so we took the car and went. We arrived at the animal shelter (Carretera de la Arrabassada) and I was very happy because I was going to have a puppy, but when we entered there were so many and with so many things, that my happiness turned into sadness.

Well I took some time to decide because each one had a different story, but in the end, I took one. It was a unique experience for me and now you know, if you want an animal, adopt it and do not buy it. I think we all deserve a second chance.

Visual Thinking

Last day in the English Class we started an activity named Visual Thinking. We had to draw what we have watched in a TV News with all the details. We used drawing instead of writing to express it.
Visual thinking consists in explaining any information you receive, but the only condition is that you have to draw it. You have to use arrows, colours, characters, words...

Our TV news was about terrorism. Some terrorists had thrown a bomb in Pakistan, destroyed a park and killed a lot of people. And then, they explained the Psychology of terrorism. Firstly, it was difficult but after focusing our attention a lot, our ideas appeared, and the rest is history.

13 Reasons Why

Today I’m here to talk about 13 reasons why, that is a TV series about one girl that feels alone.  This girl is named Hannah and her best friend is Clay. Clay is a boy that has moved on because his parents have to work in different countries. Hannah and Clay met in a cinema because Clay started to work there. All the school talks about Hanna because she has a good body, but she suffers because of that, and she finally cuts herself.

But before Hannah cutted herself, she recorded 13 tapes about the people who has ruined her life. Each tape talks about a different person and her reason to think this. Hannah gives the tapes to Tony, one of the people who caused her death and the tapes pass over to all the people remaining. Each person has to listen all the tapes. When all the people have listened the tapes, the tapes arrives at Clay, the last person. To Clay, it was so difficult to listen the tapes because he loves Hannah and he wants revenge to all the people who hurt her. All the other students think that Clay was crazy because all the things that he does. Finally, Clay records the last tape, talking about the rape of Bryce to Hannah and he sends the tapes to Hannah’s parents. I decided to write about this topic because I like a lot this TV series, and I’m waiting the premiere of the second season.

Acrobatics

Hi bloggers,
I want to explain to you things and curiosities about acrobatics, because I go to classes of acrobatic dance. And also, I would like to explain some experiences I've had there.
First of all, acrobatics is a sport activity and you need balance, agility and coordination.
Acrobatics can be done in different groups of people, for example: mail couples, female couples, mixed couples, women team (trio), men by teams (quartets), individually...
There are many types of dancing with acrobatics, but the three most prominent are dance artistic, acrobatic and rhythmic.
This activity needs a lot of training, to be able to learn and do each one of the exercises well. Because this is a sport where you have to be concentrated in all the movements, if you do not concentrate, you can hurt yourself.
To finish, I want to tell you two experiences that I had, one good and one bad.
The good one was when I left the wheel without hands, because I was very excited and my companies came to give me a hug very happily. The teacher of dance congratulated myself because of my effort during many years. I'm still getting better my work.
And the bad experience was when I did the wheel without hands and I fell and I hurt my hand, but I have had other bad experiences.

Bye bloggers.

My Experience When I Play Football

This blog, talks about my experience when I play football.

I started to play football when I was 7 years old. When I started l played in a team named Pujadas. When I arrived there, my style playing was bad, but as the time went by, I was better. In my first year in this team, my position in the league was 5. It was the best year for me because the team could win the league but in the last matches the team began to loss. I can play in all the positions in the field, except as the goalkeeper. When I score a goal I feel happy, when I assist a player of the team I feel happy too. For me football is the best sport in the world, I enjoy playing football.

Emotions and Mindfulness

On the 25th October, in the English class of 3rd B ESO we have done an activity about emotions and mindfulness. This activity consists in listening to the sounds that the teacher plays in the computer, and then, describe the emotions that we have felt in a worksheet, together with a drawing of our feeling.
We have listened to sounds like a rainstorm, traffic, a scream and a lot of things more. We have done this activity in groups of four people.
In our opinion, is a great activity to practice the emotions and the mindfulness, the capacity to let your brain stay in the moment without thinking in problems, and to relax the body. It was amazing because it’s a funny, happy and practical way to learn.

The Manga Lounge

Hi bloggers!

Today we talk about the next event: the Manga Lounge! For those who do not know what it is: is an event about manga, anime and Japanese culture organized by Ficomic . It is held annually at the Fira Barcelona (Barcelona).
This is the most important cartoon event focused on Japanese comics in Spain.
I love Japanese culture and I do not intend to miss this opportunity to spend some time reading manga and buying anime stuff.

In this event you can have fun and go disguised as your favourite character, open many things that you can buy and maybe have the opportunity to win some prizes, such as a cosplay.

The days that you can go (if you have a ticket) are 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 November, 2017, at the Fira Barcelona.

We'll be waiting for you!!!
