La Casa de Papel, the TV series

Hi bloggers, now I will explain a little about one of my favorite TV series.
La casa de papel is a Spanish television series created by Álex Pina and produced by Atresmedia in collaboration with Vancouver Media for its broadcast on Antena 3. It premiered on May 2, 2017 on Antena 3, and ended on November 23 of the same year, with a total of 15 episodes. Netflix bought the series later, and this is the reason why its audience has increased significantly, and has spread to other countries, usually under the name of Money Heist.
Currently, it is the most-watched non-English-speaking series in the history of Netflix and the platform has confirmed the production of a new season for the year 2019.
The series begins with the robbery of the National Currency and Stamp Factory. All the robbery is planned by the teacher with a perfect execution of the robbers: Tokyo, Nairobi, Río, Moscú, Berlín, Denver, Hensilki and Oslo.
The robbery will happen in the factory but they will not be alone in it, there will be hostages, the workers of the factory along with the students of the British School who were hiking. The assailants try to win the favor of public opinion in order to escape.

Fama, a bailar!, the TV programme

“Fama, a bailar!” is a television program, which helps to meet new dancers in Spain.  The program is given in a private string. You can only view the program through the channel #0 of Movistar+. But you can watch the Academy live through the official YouTube channel. In the channel you can also see special content. For example summaries of the galas or challenges. In the academy there are 16 contestants, each one has a partner, which in total are eight couples. Each couple is assigned a teacher, for that week he/she teaches them the choreography. Every week there are five galas. The first gala is on Sunday; during it all couples present their choreography of the week. In addition, for the beginning of the gala we have a video with a choreography of the group. The best dancing the choreography has a prize. For example, the opportunity to have a dance class in any important place or also participate in an important event. The winners are chosen by the teachers. At the end of the gala, the teachers choose the candidates for the immunity of the week. On Monday, the candidates for the immunity dance with their partners the same choreography and then the teachers choose the couple who is going to be immune. A member of the couple may not be nominated or challenged. They all dance on Tuesday’s gala again except the ones who are immune. Teachers choose the two worst dancers. On Wednesdays nominee performs a choreography created by them. The audience can vote once for the one who wants to save by using an App. The contestant with the least votes is leaving the academy.  The couple of the expelled has to stay alone. The contestant who wins the challenge stays with the couple of the challenged. The other person leaves the academy. And a new couple comes in. The challenge happens every Thursday.

Stranger Things

Stranger Things is currently one of Netflix's most famous and iconic series. It is about a group of good friends who lives in Hawkins, Indiana, in the 80s. They are all the day together, on mornings, they go to the same high school and on afternoons, they play table games. The group is composed by four boys, they are not popular, quite the opposite, they are a little weird and geek. Their names are: Mike Wheeler, Will Byers, Dustin Henderson and Lucas Sinclair. One day one of the boys, Will Byers, while he was coming back to his house, he disappeared, nobody knows how and when, it seemed like if he had vanished. His friends were so worried so one night they decided to go to the forest of the village to search him, but instead of finding Will, they find another thing, a strange girl with the hair shaved. She said that she knows where Will was and that had mysterious powers that made her very special.
I recommend a lot this series because, besides that is my favorite series, is too exciting and vicious. Many people that see it love it. It is classified like a drama, but it also has action, thriller, comedy and a little of terror. It is adequate for young people and for adults. So you know, if you are bored some afternoon and you do not know what to do, make a bowl of popcorn and enjoy Stranger Things in Netflix!

Winchester Manor

Today I'm going to explain you the real history of the Winchester manor.
To start, the Winchester manor was built in the XIX century in California by Sarah Winchester, William Winchester’s widow. Her husband was the heir of the famous company of rifles that killed a lot of people when they colonized the west.
Some months after her husband’s death, her only little daughter built it. When Sarah lost their family, she went into depression also, she became the heiress of the companies. But the wealth of a thousand dollars a day was no consolation for her soul in pain.
She decided to visit a medium to remedy her bad luck. The medium told her that her family was cursed and that she had to move to the west to build a special manor for all the victims that had died with the Winchester weapons.
As the medium said, the house should always remain under construction to appease those souls that tormented her. To build the manor, Sarah did not have any architect, she drew the plans of the house at night and showed them to the foreman. The house must be built along 24 hours a day, without resting. And so it was for 38 years, until Sarah died at 82.
The result is one manor full of stairs and doors that did not lead anywhere, corridors that recoiled on themselves, a total of 160 rooms, and lots of chimneys. The story says that Sarah intended to disorientate the ghosts and lock them in rooms with exactly thirteen nails. Nowadays, you can visit the real Winchester manor, and some of the people that visit the manor have felt chills and strange presences.
Would you dare to enter?

My bad experience with needles

Hi bloggers!
I will explain a moment of my life that has marked quite a lot. It was when I was in p5 with all my partners in the schoolyard. I was on the slide because I loved it, but there was a moment when my friends were playing with stones. Suddenly I felt a stone next to my left eye. Immediately, they took me to class to stop the haemorrhage that I had and in the meantime they called my parents. Then, my parents took me to the doctor and I was attended a few minutes later.
The doctor took a needle and she pricked me like about 3 times, but she was a beginner and she did not know exactly what she had to do. My parents saw me suffering and they took me to another hospital. They told us that I did not need stitches, it was just a very small thing and they put a plaster on me. Now I am 15 years old and I still have that little mark. Maybe it’s difficult to see it, but from that day, I am very afraid of needles.

Black Holes

The amazing phenomenon of black holes was a great mystery before Stephen Hawking made an investigation. Black holes are the result of the death of a star because when the star dies it triggers a supernova explosion. Black holes are very famous for their great gravitational force, they are so strong that they can absorb light. Then, it is said that black holes fit the particles and, as there is no light, they are black.
They are very different from the wormhole because the two act differently.
One sucks and the other takes you to another dimension or part of the universe.
People ask questions about black holes because it is very interesting. Black holes only suck at a certain distance, so if you do not pass this determined distance, nothing will happen to you.
Anyway, if you change the sun through a black hole, nothing happens. Only if you pass from a distance does gravity absorb you and you can not escape and you will die in a different way than you normally hear. First your body is stretched and compressed making a spaghetti.
The following video is about a NASA astrophysics and it is a supernova explosion.

Sofia's Poor Family

Sofia was a girl who was only 10 years old. She was from a very poor family but so poor that she could not even go to school, she liked studying a lot but she can not because she is very poor.
Her father died when she was only 2 years old and the cause of her father’s death was that he had cancer and could not do any kind of treatment because he did not have money. Where they lived was a very small town so they could not leave that town because it had a very serious rule: if you go out of that town, they kill you or they will send you to a place where you won’t be able to leave .
Well, she lived all her life with her mother, and her mother is also sick. That is why she does not work. There are days when they do not eat but there are days when Sofia goes to look for food and if she brings it, they eat .
After a few years, her mother also died. When she was already 18,  one day she thinks why she cannot go out of the town because that rule is incorrect.

She decided to go to the house of the president of that town to talk and ask why they cannot go outside the town. When she asked him, he said it is a rule for many years and that no one can leave. After some minutes, the president says if she prepares all the people, and they could leave, he would accept it. The president knew that she would not get it because nobody want to help her because they are afraid of the president. She goes to talk to the people of the village and then, she begins to talk with the people. She talks a lot and finally they are prepared to go and find their freedom.
And then they go outside of that town……
Remember nothing changes, if you are poor nothing happens if you do not have money. Freedom is your right, and you will do it not be afraid of anything you are the future, you are the right.

Women Who Changed the World

Last month, it was celebrated the International Women’s Day. This day is celebrated because 190 years ago, some American women left their jobs and protested to demand the rights of the women workers in a cotton factory of Chicago. In 1910, 8ht of March was established as the International women’s day, promoted by some north-European women, like Aleksandra Kolontái o Nadezhda Krúpskaya.
The first celebration of this day was in 1911, when women in Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Denmark demanded women the right to vote and to hold public office for women. They also demanded the right to work, professional training and non-discrimination in the workplace. In 1975 the first feminist strike was celebrated in Iceland. That day women didn’t go to their workplaces and they left the child to their husbands.
Although from that day those women needed to reclaim their right to vote or to have an education, the situations of the women had changed a lot in the developed countries, but there is still being a lot of work to do in terms of equality. It’s necessary to finish with the violence against women, the inequality between men and women in the salaries, the sexual harassment or smaller forms of male chauvinism.
And not all the women have had a life as easy as mine to do things like studying or giving my opinion freely. For this reason, I want to explain to you some women that have helped us to reclaim our rights or that had changed our world with their actions.
Flora Tristán (France, 1803-1844)
She was a French socialist writer and activist for the women’s rights, and one of the founders of the modern feminism. She wrote “The Emancipation of Woman”, where she protested about the inferiority of the women in the marriage. Flora Tristan has provided much in the progressing excavation of women’s role in the history.

Susan Brownell Anthony (USA, 1820-1906)
She was an American social reformer and women's rights activist who played a pivotal role in the women's suffrage movement. He also fought against slavery from the age of 17. He travelled thousands of kilometres across the USA and in Europe giving between 75 and 100 speeches per year about the suffrage and the women’s right, for approximately 45 years.

Sojourner Truth (USA, 1797-1883)
She was an African-American abolitionist and women's rights activist. Truth was born into slavery in Swartekill, Ulster County, but escaped with her infant daughter to freedom in 1826, with only 29 years. After going to court to recover her son, in 1828 she became the first black woman to win such a case against a white man. Her best-known speech was delivered in 1851 in Ohio and had the title "Ain't I a Woman?"

 Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel (France, 1884-1971)
She was a French revolutionary designer of feminine fashion and businesswoman. The creations of Gabrielle Bonheur Chanel were originals and had the objective to make the women’s life easier. In the XX century the women were dressed with corsets, with big hats and always with skirts. She popularised the use of trousers in women, and her feminine granger were elegant and comfortable.

Kathrine Switzer (USA, 1947)

After her coach insisted a marathon was too far to run for a "fragile woman", she became the first woman to run the Boston Marathon in 1967 as a numbered entry. During her run, a race official attempted to stop Switzer and grab her official bib; however, he was shoved to the ground by Switzer's boyfriend, Thomas Miller, who was running with her, and she completed the race. It was not until 1972 that women were allowed to run the Boston Marathon officially.

Marie Skłodowska Curie  (Poland, 186- 1934)
She was a physicist and chemist who conducted pioneering research on radioactivity and discovered two new elements, polonium and radium. She was the first woman to win a Nobel Prize, the first person and only woman to win twice, the only person to win a Nobel Prize in two different sciences. She was also the first woman to become a teacher at the University of Paris, and in 1995 became the first woman to be buried on her own merits in the Panthéon in Paris.

Easter Eggs Hunts

In North America it is usually celebrated a day that is called ‘’Easter egg day’’.  It’s a day when the children of that country have to go to the road while they are playing like a ‘’game’’: try to catch and find the most eggs in the road. These eggs have chocolate and some toys inside and you can win them finding the eggs.

This is traditional in North America for the Bunny because the youngest children think that the Bunny puts the eggs. It is like the kings in Spain, as the kids think that the Magic Kings bring their presents, but the real thing is that they don’t exist. Now I’m going to explain why the bunny is famous. There’s a legend that says that, when Jesus resurrected, there was a rabbit in the cave with him and he saw it so he wanted to explain it to all the people. He decided to paint the eggs with different colors and give them to people trying to say that. Another legend explains that when Jesus died, people couldn’t eat eggs along the year so that day was like especial and you can eat eggs them to break the tradition. Recently in Spain we celebrate the Mona that’s a especial day when the groomsman brings to his godson/goddaughter a cake with an egg or something like it to celebrate that day because it’s especial. Maybe the cake has some toys or something, one message or things like that pretending that the kid feels good and eats chocolate that day.
