Synchronized swimming

The synchronized swimming is a sport which combines swimming, dancing and gymnastics.
It consists in swimmers who perform some movements in the water following the rhythm of the music.
For this sport, you need flexibility, endurance, art and precision, and a very important thing: a control of the apnea underwater. The groups of this sport are usually duos, but there are teams that practice this:

Nowadays some boys have begun to compete. For example Pau Ribes, he competes with Gemma Mengual in the Spanish Championship.

The competition for swimmers who are over 18, is divided in two parts: technical exercise and free exercise. The judges score the technical quality, delicacy, artistic creation in sync with the music; the strength, the height of each figure and the artistic expression with a maximum of 10 points is verified.
The swimmers may be penalized if they touch the bottom of the pool, rest on the edges or if they show signs of fatigue and do not have any grace or smile.
Some positions are:
                                         Ballet leg double position
                             Vertical position
              Crane position
                            Tuck position
                                        Back pike position
                                       Tub position
                            Split position

Halloween: Teenager Quiz

Halloween is here! That is the reason why I’m writing my post about Vampires and Werewolves.

Do you want to know what you are? Maybe you can be a vampire, a werewolf, or just a simple human being. I’m here to tell you what you are. According to the stereotypes we know about these types of monsters, I’ll give you some questions, you decide how to answer, and then you have to compare your own answers. You must decide your own result, so be honest with yourself.

Now you can tell your friends if you are a monster, Even if your result is being a simple human being, you can scare them too. But if you are a monster, you can design a  plan this Halloween to frighten your friends. Good luck and have a good time!

The Hunger Games

Hi bloggers!!

If I had to talk or recommend something for this blog, I would talk to you about the books and movies of Hunger Games. In this trilogy, “the Hunger Games” are an annual televised event where the Capitol, randomly selects one boy and one girl. They can be between 12 to 18, from each of the 12 districts. Each one of them has to try to kill his/her “partners” because just one can win. The winner wins a new house for himself and his family with food, fame and money.

I really want to invite you to read and see the books and films, in this order because the book has lots of extra things that you can’t forget!
I take this opportunity to tell you that the last film will be released on November 20th in United States but on November 27th in Spain.

Here you have the books’ cover page!

Inside out!

Hi bloggers! I recommend you this film! Here you have the synopsis!

As time goes by, life begins to be complicated. So it is for the young Riley Anderson when, with only 11 years, she has to leave behind her life in the Midwest, and move to San Francisco.

Like the rest of the people, Riley’s life is guided by her emotions: joy, fear, anger, disgust and sadness. They all live in the headquarters, the control center in her head, from where they help and direct the behaviour of the girl.

Although Joy tries to dominate the feelings to keep the child in a state of happiness, sadness begins to change things and make melancholy spread. A series of events causes the two emotions accidentally leave the headquarters,  and travelling to Riley's mind while trying to find their way back.

They are a group of 4 people from Spain, but they sing in English.
The four members are:
-Mario, the vocalist and guitar.

-Tate, the bass.
-Gaby, drums and chorus.

If  after reading this, you want to listen to more songs, search their album: The Liberty Comes.

American Horror Story

Hey guys,
I’m Aina a student from 3rd ESO
First of all, I’m going to ask you a question, do you like scary movies or series?

If you like them, I recommend the TV series American Horror Story. There are 5 seasons and each of them is a different story. All the stories are scary, giving us a bit of scares but with a spark of mystery that makes you want to continue seeing it.

The seasons are called:

American Horror Story: The Murder House
American Horror Story: Asylum
American Horror Story: Coven
American Horror Story: Freak Show
American Horror Story: Hotel

I don’t recommend the series to people under 12 years, because they may have nightmares.

If you are a person that doesn’t like scary series or movies don’t see it, because you maybe have nightmares.

If you think you’re brave I encourage you to see it because I think it’s very probably that you like.

So, that’s all.

Thanks for reading and have a nice week.
